Inside Sales Team Lead

As an Inside Sales Team Lead for Transteel Seating Technologies Pvt Ltd, you will be
responsible for leading and managing a team of inside sales representatives who are
responsible for generating and converting leads into paying customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: The inside sales team leader is responsible for managing a team of
    inside sales representatives. This includes setting performance goals, providing coaching and
    training, and monitoring performance.
  • Lead The Sales Team: You would be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the sales team, assigning tasks, and ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals.
    Set sales targets: You would work with the team to set achievable sales targets and ensure
    that they are on track to meet or exceed these targets.
  • Monitor Performance: You would need to keep a close eye on the team’s performance, monitoring key metrics such as conversion rates, lead quality, and average order value. You would use this data to identify areas for improvement and adjust your sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide Training and Coaching: You would need to provide regular training and coaching to the sales team, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to be successful. This might include training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Collaborate With Other Departments: You would work closely with other departments such as marketing and customer service to ensure that the company’s overall strategy is aligned and that the sales team is working effectively with other teams.

Qualification:

  • Education:  A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field may be required or
    preferred for this role.
  • Sales experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in a B2B or inside sales environment, is typically required. Experience in the furniture industry is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: A successful Inside Sales Team Leader should have experience managing and leading a team of sales representatives. This may include experience in setting goals,
    monitoring performance, providing coaching and feedback, and handling difficult situations.
    Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical in
    this role. The ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and other
    departments within the company is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with sales software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools is important in this role, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office.
